Professional Solar Roof Mounting

A professional mounting job is essential for the safety, longevity, and maximum yield of your photovoltaic system. Even the smallest installation error can lead to leaks, stability issues, or performance losses. At ProfiSolarBau, we understand that your roof is the protective shield for your home. That’s why we rely on certified installation teams, first-class materials, and proven processes to guarantee an absolutely secure and weatherproof installation—no matter what type of roof you have.

Roof mounting

Whereas large, functional panels were mainly used in the past, today there is the option of designing metal roofs with an attractive tile look. That is why more and more builders are consciously choosing metal roofs over classic tiles—and there are compelling reasons for doing so.

Stages of Work

01

Preparation and planning: Determine the installation location: south side, roof, building walls, or property on supports. We ensure that the location is well lit and not shaded by trees or other buildings during the day. ProfiSolar calculates the optimal angle of inclination for the modules to make the best use of solar radiation. Profisolar compiles the necessary documents for the grid connection.

02

Installation of the mounting structures: We attach the mountings to the desired location. The mountings must be stable (preferably made of aluminum) and securely fastened to the surface (e.g., with screws or self-tapping screws).

03

Installation of the solar modules: Profisolar attaches the modules to the brackets using pressure elements. Make sure that the modules are securely fastened and cannot be displaced by wind or other influences.

04

Connection of the electrical equipment: We connect the modules to an inverter that converts direct current into alternating current. Installation of the inverter and protective devices. We connect the inverter to the power grid, usually via a bidirectional meter, so that excess energy can be sold.

Expertise for Every Roof Type: We've Got You Covered

Tiled Roofs (Concrete & Clay): Secure fastening with special roof hooks that slide under the tiles without damaging their structure. Every penetration is double-sealed for complete peace of mind.
Metal Roofs (Trapezoidal & Standing Seam): Installation using system-approved clamps or hanger bolts with specialized gaskets, ensuring a durable bond without perforating the water-bearing layer.
Flat Roofs (Bitumen & Membrane): Use of aerodynamic, ballasted racking systems that require no roof penetration, preserving your roof's integrity and respecting the building's static limits.
Slate Roofs & Special Cases: Custom solutions from our most experienced craftsmen, who are equipped to master even the most complex challenges.

Our Quality Promise: The ProfiSolarBau Installation Standard

Transparency and safety are our top priorities. Our mounting process follows strict quality guidelines.

  1. Careful Planning & Structural Check: Before installation, we check your roof’s structural integrity and plan the exact layout of the racking system.
  2. Choosing the Right System: We select a mounting system that is perfectly suited to your roof and the local wind and snow load requirements.
  3. Expert Installation: Our installers work with precision and care. All attachment points are professionally sealed and waterproofed.
  4. Final Inspection & Weatherproof Guarantee: After the installation, everything is thoroughly checked. We provide you with a written guarantee on the weatherproofing of our work.

FAQs

Will the installation cause my roof to leak?
No. When professionally installed by our certified teams, this is not a concern. We use high-quality, proven materials and sealing techniques and provide a full guarantee on our workmanship.
Can my roof handle the extra weight of a solar system?
Modern PV systems are lighter than you might think (approx. 20-25 kg per square meter). We conduct a structural assessment before every installation. In over 95% of cases, installing on a single-family home is no problem at all.
What if I have an older roof?
We will assess the condition of your roof beforehand. If a repair or renovation is advisable, we will consult with you honestly and transparently. Installing a PV system can often be a great opportunity to get your roof ready for the next few decades.
